Historic Royal Palaces, the independent charity that looks after six of the UK’s most iconic palaces – including the Tower of London, Kensington Palace and Hampton Court Palace – has appointed LK Communications as its retained PR agency in Northern Ireland.
Following a competitive four-way pitch, LK Communications was appointed to support its visitor growth ambitions for Hillsborough Castle and Gardens, through strategic consumer and corporate communications and media relations across Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.
Historic Royal Palaces has been responsible for the care, conservation and presentation of Hillsborough Castle and Gardens since 2014, under contract with the Northern Ireland Office, and aims to substantially grow the size of its growing visitor base through targeted, multichannel communications campaigns. The King’s official royal residence in Northern Ireland, Hillsborough Castle and Gardens is also the residence of the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland, and a venue used for political and state occasions.
LK Communications’ strategic campaigns will focus on connecting with new and diverse audiences, spotlighting the stunning gardens, immersive visitor experiences, and the site’s unique heritage - positioning Hillsborough Castle and Gardens as an accessible, family-friendly day out with national significance.
